Merry Christmas

It's Been Awhile

We have been busy getting ready for the holidays! We spent Thanksgiving at Brad's sister's house in Longview, I spent a week in Houston with the girls while Brad was busy at work, we've enjoyed lots of Christmas parties and activities, Claire had her first slumber party, we baked cookies and we will be spending Christmas with my family in Houston this year. Here are some pictures to catch you up!

Zen Baking Company

A couple of weeks ago my good friend Czarina made her television debut when her company, Zen Baking Company, was featured on a show on the Cooking Channel! Some friends and I were lucky enough to go to a viewing party in Dallas to help celebrate the success of her new business. If you've never tried her cake balls, you are missing out. I can't get enough of them, and I sent my sister some to her school for her birthday recently. I am so proud of Czarina...she balances Motherhood and her work life beautifully! And now I have a famous friend! ;)

Happy Halloween!

We had a very busy Halloween! We went to the pumpkin patch with our Stroller Stride friends,spent a beautiful day at the Dallas arboretum, went to an amazing Halloween party, Claire got to dress up for dance class and of course, trick or treating! We carved a pumpkin too! I don't know about Claire, but I am done Halloween for this year ;)

Recent Fun

I found Aubrey like this when I checked on the girls. Claire dressed her up...that's a princess hat, magic wand (aka back scratcher), a purse and pink heels!






















Claire got a new haircut! She finally has enough hair to have a style. She looks so grown up! Thank you Andrea!



Aubrey can stand without support now! She can't get herself into that position, but she is so proud! I really think she will walk before she crawls!

Pretty Girls

I love my girls! They are both growing so fast. They have different personalities, but both are sweet and happy...I don't know how I got so lucky! They are still each others best friend. Claire still loves school and dance class. She is already looking forward to Halloween...and Christmas. Aubrey calls me NaNa and calls Brad DaDa. Their smiles are my favorite!

Go Tech!

This weekend Brad's Dad and Tommy came to town so we could go to the fair and the football game. Brad took off work on Friday so we could beat the crowd and enjoy some fair food, rides and attractions. This is the forth year in a row we have been and it just keeps getting more fun! Claire is old enough now to ride the rides and she is tall enough too! She LOVED them all...she rode a roller coaster and giant slide with Brad, she rode a balloon ride with me and then rode the swings and a few others by herself. The girl has no fear. She reminds me of when I used to ride rides with my Dad. I ate a corny dog and fried oreos, yum! Aubrey was awesome, just slept and looked around. I was so busy i didn't take any pictures :( The next day Brad and I went with some of my friends to the tech game while Grandad babysat! We had a blast. i got sunburned and it was hot for an October game, but tons of fun with friends!
