8 Months Old!

Claire is 8 months old and in the past month has become a little person with her own sense of humor and personality. She had many "firsts" this past month...she got her first tooth and now has both bottom teeth, she can wave, give kisses, says Da Da, shakes her head NO, she is crawling all over the house and just recently can stand for short periods of time while holding onto something! She is at such a fun age right now and I am so lucky that I get to experience every moment with her. I swear she was a newborn just yesterday and now she is becoming a little girl! We just love her so much!!!

The Park

Brad and I took Claire to a local park (during the Cowboys game...what a good Daddy)! She LOVED the swing, and Mommy and Daddy might have had fun on the playground too ;) I did learn something...it is harder than it looks to go down a slide holding a baby...

Trip to Lubbock

This past weekend, we took Claire on her first trip to Lubbock. She did great on the 5 hour car ride! She had a very busy weekend with Mimi, Grandad, Aunt Heather and Uncle Dr. Robert. We took her around campus Sat. morning to get some pictures. I swear I was just standing in some of the same places getting ready to start college and now I'm taking pictures of my baby there. Before I know it we will be there taking pictures of Claire at college! Then we met my roommates from school for lunch! We had a blast catching up and remembering old times. We needed more time together...I miss them all already. We did get to meet Mallory! She is the beautiful daughter of my college roommate Meredith! And of course we got some great pics!! Sat. night we took Claire to her first Tech football game! None of the loud noises bothered her at all. She waved at the band as it marched in and lasted until half way through the second quarter. But by then it was past her bedtime and she was ready to go. Sunday we went to church and fed some ducks. I will add video soon! We had a great trip. Claire loves her Mimi and grandad and their fish!

Grandmom & Pop-Pop's Visit

Grandmom and Pop-Pop came to visit this weekend! We celebrated Pop-Pop's birthday, went shopping, played, went to church and went to brunch. Claire is crawling now so she got to show off for her Grandparents! She loves them so much and we can't wait to see them again soon!!!

Go Tech!

Well, this weekend kicked off college football season! Brad and I are huge fans and were not disappointed when Tech won our first game! We will be going to Lubbock later this month to take Claire to her first game! Last time we went to a game in Lubbock I was about 6 months pregnant and jumping up and down in the stands cheering! Oh and the cherry on top...looks like the aggies are going to have another fun season....poor aggies...
