Recent Fun

I found Aubrey like this when I checked on the girls. Claire dressed her up...that's a princess hat, magic wand (aka back scratcher), a purse and pink heels!






















Claire got a new haircut! She finally has enough hair to have a style. She looks so grown up! Thank you Andrea!



Aubrey can stand without support now! She can't get herself into that position, but she is so proud! I really think she will walk before she crawls!

Pretty Girls

I love my girls! They are both growing so fast. They have different personalities, but both are sweet and happy...I don't know how I got so lucky! They are still each others best friend. Claire still loves school and dance class. She is already looking forward to Halloween...and Christmas. Aubrey calls me NaNa and calls Brad DaDa. Their smiles are my favorite!

Go Tech!

This weekend Brad's Dad and Tommy came to town so we could go to the fair and the football game. Brad took off work on Friday so we could beat the crowd and enjoy some fair food, rides and attractions. This is the forth year in a row we have been and it just keeps getting more fun! Claire is old enough now to ride the rides and she is tall enough too! She LOVED them all...she rode a roller coaster and giant slide with Brad, she rode a balloon ride with me and then rode the swings and a few others by herself. The girl has no fear. She reminds me of when I used to ride rides with my Dad. I ate a corny dog and fried oreos, yum! Aubrey was awesome, just slept and looked around. I was so busy i didn't take any pictures :( The next day Brad and I went with some of my friends to the tech game while Grandad babysat! We had a blast. i got sunburned and it was hot for an October game, but tons of fun with friends!

Pretty Day

We enjoyed a gorgeous Saturday as a family this weekend. The weather was perfect, there was college football on tv, the girls were in a great mood all day, we made paper bag monsters and Brad grilled dinner for us! Just one of those lazy days that turn out to be great!

How to Catch a Fairie

Claire loves the Tinkerbell movies (if you haven't seen them there are three of them and they are pretty fun). In the third movie a little girl builds a house to catch fairies in with some items from around the house...so on a rainy day a few days ago I decided that that could be a project for Claire and me. I have zero creativity so I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but we had so much fun making it!

First day of school and Bride

Claire started back at Mother's Day Out this week. She was so ready (and so was I). she really loves school and seeing her friends. It rained HARD yesterday so we were stuck inside...I let her play with my wedding veil and shoes...the dress is too big and heavy for her right now. She loved it and didn't want to take it off. Aubrey was content jumping and watching her crazy sister! I plan on displaying one of these at Claire's wedding some day.

Dance class and reading and Tech, oh my!

Busy week! Claire started ballet/tap class with her friend Isabella! She LOVES it and told everyone she saw that she had a beautiful dress and that she is a ballerina. I have a feeling this will be worth every penny. I caught Claire reading to AJ and it made me smile. Love them! And of course I could not resist dressing them in their tech cheerleader outfits for some pictures.
