Big Girl Bed
Aubrey got her new big girl bed about a month ago! While my parents were in town they were generous enough to buy it for her. Claire was two when she got one because I needed the crib for Aubrey so I figured it was time for a crib-free house. Kinda sad. She LOVES it. She goes right to sleep and sleeps all through the night, then the girls come downstairs together every morning around 7:00. It has a trundle so Claire has already spent the night with her. They do great together in the same room :) Brad and I love the paint color we chose...a light purple. She really is getting to be a little girl...tear...
The first day she wasn't so sure about it...I found her asleep on the playroom couch at nap time.
Their rooms are right next to each other!
Oh, we redid the guest room too so come visit!

Memorial Day Camp Out
The Friday that kicked off the long Memorial Day weekend was perfect for a little backyard camping. Claire has been wanting to camp for awhile now, and I hate camping, so we met in the middle. We went "fishing", ate smores, set up a tent and watched a movie outside. The girls fell asleep in the tent at 9:30 and we brought them inside to sleep in their own beds. Something was crawling around in the bushes...Brad said it was a turtle but I was pretty much done after that. It was fun and we will do it again for sure!
Bows, Bows, Bows!
Aubrey is finally letting me put bows in her hair. I've never been good at doing girl hair, but I better figure it out soon with two girls!

Graduation
Another school year gone! Claire finished 3 year old pre-k and Aubrey the 1's class. We all LOVED MBS Discovery Center. If we hadn't moved we would be back there again next year for sure. The teachers are amazing...they took the time to teach Claire how to read and Aubrey didn't cry once during her first year of school. They both learned so much and I was looking at a picture they took of Claire on the first day of school and it is amazing how much she has grown this past year. The girls put on a little graduation performance this morning and sang songs. I am proud of them and we are already looking forward to next year. Until then, summer, here we come!!!
Claire and Mrs. Peggy
Claire with Mrs. Cynthia and Ms. Valerie. She had three teachers to 18 kids!
Aubrey with Mrs. Julianne
I zoomed in from across the room for this one...I caught her drinking with her pinkies out. She often tells me that this is how a princess drinks...
I'm a proud Momma
Veronica and I spent countless hours talking in the parking lot or playground after school. Isabella and Claire are great friends and we are going to miss them next year!

Happy Mother's Day!
I had a great Mother's Day. My parents came to town to celebrate my brother's girlfriend's college graduation from UNT so I got to spend Mother's Day with my Mom. Brad bought me flowers, sweet cards from him and the girls, did the dishes, got me spa giftcards, got me donuts on sunday morning (because lets be honest, thats what I really wanted)!, and we all went to church. It was a great weekend and I am so thankful that God gave me Claire and Aubrey. I love being their Mom!

We've Moved!
OK, I'm back! But in a new location! We moved to Flower Mound a month ago to be closer to Brad's work and great public schools for the girls. The move went smoothly, and we are all unpacked and settled in. We love the neighborhood...lots of parks, friendly neighbors, pools, shopping and activities! Since my last post, Aubrey turned two, both girls had their yearly checkup and passed with flying colors. Claire has finally evened out and is at the 50% for both height and weight...she weighs36 pounds. Aubrey is almost 23 pounds so she is still at the 3% but Dr. says she is fine and we don't have to come back until next year. they both got their vaccines and they were SO brave...not one tear. The nurse said she has never seen that before in her life ;) Anyways, easter has come and gone. We found a new church here. It poured rain on Easter Sunday and we were dripping wet through the entire service. I am still driving to arlington four times a week to finish up school and ballet. Random post, I know but now we are caught up!
